The Diligence Software Suite

Compare XBRL Pro, Connect, and Express — and choose the right tool for your workflow.

Updated over 7 months ago

Diligence Software is made up of three complementary products, each built to simplify different aspects of the regulatory reporting process — from preparation to validation to submission.

Whether you’re handling complex disclosures across multiple frameworks or managing recurring submissions to national regulators, our product suite offers flexible, modern tools to fit your team’s needs.

XBRL Pro

(Previously known as Diligence)

Available on Mac and Windows

XBRL Pro is a powerful desktop application that brings structure and clarity to even the most complex regulatory reports. Built for precision, it includes:

  • All up-to-date templates across supported authorities

  • Live error detection and validation feedback

  • Cross-reporting logic checks

  • Smart navigation through large disclosures

  • Guided data entry, including conditional rules and embedded references

XBRL Pro is ideal for institutions that prepare reports internally and want full control and auditability across every line of their disclosures.

XBRL Connect

(Previously known as Risk Assist)

Web-based platform

XBRL Connect simplifies submission to the ACPR by offering a direct, secure connection to ONEGATE, the French regulator’s submission portal.

With XBRL Connect, you can:

  • Automatically transmit reports to ONEGATE

  • Monitor live submission status

  • Receive and track error messages or acceptance confirmations

  • Eliminate the need for manual uploads and downloads

  • Avoid redundant logins or document reformatting

We built our integration with the ACPR’s portal from the ground up using a secure, automated bridge — giving you real-time clarity and eliminating human error in the final submission step.

XBRL Express

Web-based + Excel-native workflow

XBRL Express offers a fast, intuitive way to complete and validate regulatory reports — entirely through Excel.

How it works:

  1. Download templates in Excel format directly from the portal

  2. Fill in multiple reports at once using dynamic formulas and validations

  3. Live error detection and cross-checks are built into the spreadsheet

  4. Upload your completed Excel file back to XBRL Express

  5. Receive your report instantly converted into valid XBRL format — ready to be submitted to regulators (or directly to ONEGATE if applicable)

This tool is perfect for smaller institutions, urgent deadlines, or teams that prefer Excel’s flexibility without compromising compliance or structure.

Choosing the Right Tool

You can use any Diligence product independently, or combine them for full-cycle reporting — from data entry to regulator-ready output and submission.

Each tool is kept constantly updated with the latest templates, validations, and taxonomy changes so you never fall out of sync with regulatory expectations.
